I would like to introduce myself. I am Betsy Shelton, a Dressage Trainer and Instructor. I teach the basics of dressage through high level competitions. I can help you to communicate more with your horse by helping you to ride better.

I have started most of my horses and taken them up through the levels. I have also taken older horses, retrained and showed with great success. I have had my Junior and Adult students show successfully, with many qualifying and riding in their Championships.  I have been very successful showing in the Western Dressage levels, with little cow horses to big proven western show horse. 

My background also includes 3 day Eventing and packing mules into the Backcountry. As you can see I have a well-rounded education, which does include working with high level Instructors. You never stop learning as well as your horse can never stop improving. 

I have openings for a few goal oriented students. Ones that just want to improve their connection to their horse, to riders wanting to work up through the levels and compete. Come and join the team!
